KBR announced its selection by ORNX Green Hydrogen for the pre-front-end engineering design (Pre-FEED) phase of a world-scale, low-cost ammonia project in Morocco. The project is expected to produce approximately 560,000 metric tons per year of ammonia, utilizing about 900 MW of electrolyzer capacity. KBR will provide technology licensing and Pre-FEED services, with the study supported by funding from the U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA).

KBR announced that Trinzic, its planned Mission Technology Solutions spin-off, secured an estimated $208 million cost-plus-fixed-fee task order. This five-year recompete extends KBR’s role as a prime contractor supporting the U.S. Army’s Tactical Aviation and Ground Munitions portfolio. The award reinforces KBR's leadership in defense technology modernization and directly supports the Army's top modernization priorities. KBR announced it has been awarded the Project Management Consultant (PMC) contract by Power2X for its eFuels project in Rotterdam. This significant project aims to produce over 250,000 tons of e-SAF per year, contributing nearly 40% of the total production mandated by the ReFuelEU Aviation Regulation. KBR will provide PMC services during the FEED and execution phases, supporting Europe's clean aviation goals and reducing reliance on fossil jet fuel.

KBR announced that its Purifier® technology has been selected for Pampa Energía's new ammonia-urea complex in Bahía Blanca, Argentina. KBR will provide technology licensing, basic engineering design, and proprietary equipment for the 3,430 tons per day ammonia plant. This facility, expected to begin operations by the end of 2029, will be the largest single-train ammonia plant in Latin America, enhancing regional food security.

KBR announced that its Mission Technology Solutions business has been awarded a new multiple-award, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract by the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC). The ASTRA contract has an $866 million ceiling value across all awardees and supports task orders over five years. This award expands KBR's role in providing engineering and technical solutions to translate complex threat data into actionable insights for the U.S. Air Force, Department of War, and the intelligence community, continuing a longstanding relationship with NASIC.

KBR, Inc. has entered into amended and restated severance and change in control agreements with its executive officers, including the CEO and CFO. These agreements replace existing ones and introduce several changes to ensure competitive treatment for current and future executives. Key modifications include revised definitions for "Good Reason" and "Cause," an increased cash severance multiple for non-CEO officers, and updated retirement eligibility and RSU vesting terms.
