Quantum-Si Inc

Quantum-Si Inc. has entered into a new 10-year lease agreement for approximately 54,374 square feet of office, laboratory, and manufacturing space in San Diego, California. The new facility, commencing around September 1, 2027, will support the company's operations, including the Proteus™ platform development and expanded manufacturing capabilities. The agreement includes a significant tenant allowance of $17.1 million and a 20-month rent abatement period.

Quantum-Si reported a net loss of $21.7 million for Q1 2026, an increase from $19.2 million in Q1 2025, with total revenue significantly decreasing to $0.26 million from $0.84 million year-over-year. The company continues to develop its next-generation ProteusTM platform, anticipated to launch by the end of 2026. Despite ongoing losses and negative cash flows, management believes current cash, cash equivalents, and marketable securities of $190.4 million are sufficient to fund operations for at least the next twelve months.

Quantum-Si reported first quarter 2026 financial results with revenue of $258,000 and a net loss of $21.7 million. The company highlighted significant progress in the development of its Proteus™ instrument, including successful sequencing on integrated instruments and detecting 17 amino acids with its developmental kit. Quantum-Si reiterated its full-year 2026 financial guidance, anticipating approximately $1.0 million in revenue and total cash usage of $93.0 million or less. A commercial launch of Proteus is expected by the end of 2026.
