SOUTHEAST AIRPORT GROUP (ASUR) announced a proposed business combination to internalize technical assistance and technology transfer services currently provided by its strategic partner, ITA, through a merger of ITA into ASUR. This strategic move is expected to result in the issuance of 7,251,236 net new shares, increasing total outstanding shares to approximately 307,251,236. The company anticipates annual consolidated savings equivalent to about 2.5% of EBITDA, or 403 million Mexican Pesos based on 2025 figures, and aims to enhance operational efficiency and strategic control. Shareholders will vote on the integration and related bylaws amendments at an Extraordinary General Shareholders’ Meeting on August 20, 2026.
