World Gold Trust Services, LLC, the sponsor of SPDR® Gold Trust, has appointed Joan A. Binstock to its Board of Directors and Audit Committee, effective September 28, 2026. Ms. Binstock, 72, brings a wealth of experience from her advisory role at Lovell Minnick Partners and previous executive positions, including CFO at Lord, Abbett & Co. LLC. Her diverse board experience spans various financial institutions and investment funds.

SPDR Gold Trust reported a significant increase in net assets and net asset value per share for the six months ended March 31, 2026. Total net assets reached $155.11 billion, with NAV per share at $423.34, driven by substantial net realized and unrealized gains on its gold investments. The Trust also saw a net increase in shares outstanding, reflecting its objective to mirror gold bullion performance.
