UNITED BREWERIES COMPANY, INC. (CCU) announced its second quarter 2026 results, reporting a 4.8% increase in net sales to CLP 607,801 million and a significant 59.4% expansion in EBITDA to CLP 31,591 million. However, the company's net income recorded a larger loss of CLP 20,712 million, compared to a loss of CLP 11,218 million in 2Q25, partly due to a CLP 6,068 million impairment loss related to Bolivia. The Chile operating segment showed strong performance with a 26.2% EBITDA increase, while the Wine segment faced challenges with a 61.9% EBITDA decrease. CCU also acquired the remaining 49.9% equity interest in Aguas CCU-Nestlé Chile S.A., achieving 100% ownership.
