Unichem Laboratories Ltd. has announced a voluntary recall of two products distributed in the USA by its subsidiary, Unichem Pharmaceuticals (USA), Inc. The recalled products are Doxazosin Tablets, USP, and N-Nitroso Bisoprolol Hydrochlorothiazide Tablets, USP. The Doxazosin Tablets have been recalled due to a product appearance defect, where some tablets of 4 mg strength have incorrect debossing. The N-Nitroso Bisoprolol Hydrochlorothiazide Tablets have been recalled due to not meeting the impurity specification limits. Unichem Laboratories has stated that they have not received any reports of adverse events related to this recall.
