RITES Secures Two Major Orders from Ministry of Railways for Railway Electrification Work

RITES Ltd has secured two major orders from the Ministry of Railways for railway electrification work on a cost-plus turnkey basis. The first project, 'Mysore — Hassan — Manglore incl. Hassan — arsikere', is worth Rs. 729.28 crores (excluding GST) and the second project, 'Kadur — Chikmaglur Lumding — Badarpur', is worth Rs. 288.44 crores (excluding GST). These orders are a continuation of the earlier intimation dated 15.06.2021, where RITES was declared the lowest bidder for a tender called by the Railway Board, Ministry of Railways for railway electrification work on a turnkey basis.
