Medanta acquires 80-bed Cancer Hospital in Indore for ₹30 Cr

Global Health Limited (Medanta) announced the takeover of an 80-bedded Cancer Hospital in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, through a Business Transfer Agreement (BTA). This acquisition, costing ₹30 crores including a long-term lease assignment, strengthens Medanta's presence in Central India and complements its existing 175-bedded multi-specialty hospital in the city. The newly-built facility, strategically located near the current Medanta Indore hospital, will enable the launch of a comprehensive oncology program. The integration is expected to drive operational synergies, optimize capacity utilization, and improve patient flow across both facilities, enhancing Medanta's specialized high-quality care offerings in the region.
