JSW Steel Named World Steel Association's 2026 Sustainability Champion

JSW Steel has been recognized as a Sustainability Champion by the World Steel Association for the eighth consecutive year. This prestigious award acknowledges the company's robust and consistent commitment to sustainable development, meeting stringent environmental, social, governance, and economic (ESGE) criteria. Qualification requires verifiable evidence across 20 ESGE dimensions, submission of Life Cycle Inventory data for over 60% of crude steel production, and formal industry recognition. Joint MD & CEO Jayant Acharya stated this validates JSW Steel's strategy, viewing sustainability as a key source of long-term competitiveness and essential for a low-carbon future.
