UPL to Invest $86.7 Mn in Sinova Inovacoes Agricolas S.A.

UPL Ltd, through its step-down subsidiary UPL Brazil, will further invest in Sinova Inovacoes Agricolas S.A., an associate entity. The investment, amounting to approximately USD 86.7 million (BRL 450 million), aims to address Sinova's working capital requirements and reduce its debt. Post-investment, UPL Brazil's holding in Sinova will increase from 49.97% to 55.81%. Sinova, a major reseller of grains and agricultural products in Brazil's Cerrado region, plays a crucial role in promoting and reselling UPL products. The transaction is expected to be completed on or before May 15, 2026, and does not require any further regulatory approvals.
