Century Enka acquires ₹3.79 Cr shares in ABRELCEL for 26% captive stake

Century Enka Ltd. has received 3,796,086 equity shares of ABREL Century Energy Limited (ABRELCEL) into its demat account on April 25, 2026. This transaction, valued at ₹3.79 crore (3,796,086 shares at ₹10 par value), was executed to maintain Century Enka's 26% shareholding in ABRELCEL. This minimum shareholding is crucial for ABRELCEL, a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) for wind-solar hybrid energy projects with a turnover of ₹1,949.10 Lakhs (FY25), to qualify as a Captive User of the power producer under the Electricity Act, 2003. The acquisition was a related party transaction, conducted at arm's length, and involved cash consideration.
