ABB India Launches Flame Proof Motors for Safe Operations in Hazardous Environments

ABB India has launched a new range of low voltage flameproof motors, offering safety, reliability, and efficiency in larger frames. These motors are specifically designed for industries such as Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Pharma, and Food & Beverage, where the presence of hazardous gases makes safety and reliability a top priority. The motors comply with PESO certification, are available in IE2, IE3, and IE4 efficiency classes, and offer wide output ranges (37kW — 500kW). They are manufactured at ABB’s state-of-the-art Bengaluru facility and are certified for use in gas groups IIA, 1B, and IIC.
