Abhijit Trading Company Ltd. has called for an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) on 25th November 2025 to consider changing the company's name to Malt Land Distilleries Limited and altering the Memorandum of Association and Articles of Association. The company has received approval from the Central Registration Center (CRC) on 14th October 2025. Additionally, the company aims to establish and operate distilleries, breweries, wineries, and other facilities for the production of alcoholic beverages, including spirits, beer, wine, and ready-to-drink products. It will engage in the import, export, sale, and distribution of these beverages both locally and internationally. The company will also operate wholesale and retail businesses, including bars, pubs, clubs, and liquor stores. It will focus on marketing, promoting, and branding alcoholic products through digital and traditional media, events, and sponsorships. The company will manufacture, trade, stock, and supply essential raw materials and equipment for beverage production and invest in research and development to innovate new products and improve production processes.
