ACME Solar Signs PPA with NHPC for 250 MW FDRE Project in Rajasthan

ACME Solar Holdings Ltd (ACME Solar) has signed a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with NHPC Limited for its 2560 MW Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) project in Rajasthan. The PPA is signed at a tariff of Rs 4.56 per kWh for a minimum annual Capacity Utilization Factor (CUF) of 40% and to meet 90% of peak power requirement of 4 hours daily. This project will be connected to an ISTS substation and will add to ACME Solar’s existing portfolio of 5,130 MW, with 2,826.2 MW already operational. ACME Solar has a firm pipeline of 1,840 MW for which Letter of Award (LOA) has been received.
