Adani Green Energy on Track to Deploy One of World's Largest BESS, Eyes 2x Capacity Increase in FY27

Adani Green Energy Ltd. is clarifying a media report titled 'Adani Green targets 7 GWh BESS in Gujarat & up to Rs. 40,000 crore capex in FY27'. The company is already on track to deploy one of the world's largest single location Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) in the coming months. They also plan to enhance their BESS capacities, potentially more than 2x the current year's capacity, in the subsequent financial year. The commissioning of the BESS project is expected to significantly enhance value for all stakeholders. The company has made, and will continue to make, necessary disclosures in compliance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, as amended.
