
Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd Sets New Records in FY25 with 200 MMT Cargo Volume at Mundra Port
Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Limited (APSEZ) has achieved a significant milestone in its operational performance. During March 2025 (Mar'25), APSEZ handled its highest ever cargo volume at 41.5 MMT, marking a 9% Year-over-Year (YoY) growth. This growth was primarily driven by a 19% YoY increase in containers and a 5% YoY increase in liquids and gas. The Mundra port, a key facility of APSEZ, handled a record-breaking 200.7 MMT cargo volume during the financial year 2024-25 (FY25), making it the first Indian port to cross the 200 MMT cargo milestone in a single year. The Vizhinjam port also crossed the 100,000 TEUs milestone during the month. In FY25, APSEZ handled a total of 450.2 MMT cargo volume, representing a 7% YoY growth. The logistics rail volume stood at 0.64 Mn TEUs, marking an 8% YoY increase, and the GPWIS volume was at 21.97 MMT, reflecting a 9% YoY growth.
