
Adani Power Emerges Stronger After SEBI Clears Hindenburg Charges: EBITDA Grows by 57% in Two Years, Adds Nearly ₹ 2 Lakh Cr in Assets
Adani Power Ltd has submitted a letter from its Chairman, Gautam S. Adani, to its shareholders following the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) dismissing allegations made by Hindenburg. The company's EBITDA grew by 57% from ₹ 257,205 Cr in FY23 to ₹ 89,806 Cr in FY25, representing a two-year CAGR of 25%. The gross block expanded by 48% from ₹ 4,12,318 Cr in FY23 to ₹ 6,09,133 Cr in FY25. Adani Power also commissioned significant projects, including India's first container transshipment port at Vizhinjam, 6 GW of renewable capacity, the world’s largest copper smelter and metallurgical complex, and expanded its energy network with 7,000 circuit kms of transmission lines and 4 GW of new thermal capacity across India and overseas.
