Sundrop Brands Ltd has reported a fatal accident at its material wholly owned subsidiary, Del Monte Foods Private Limited's factory in Hosur, Tamil Nadu. The incident resulted in the death of one workman. Consequently, one manufacturing line for 'pizza sauce product' at the affected unit has been temporarily stopped pending statutory assessment. Del Monte is providing assistance to the deceased's family and cooperating with authorities. The company stated that the impact is immaterial based on preliminary assessment, and other business operations remain unaffected. Insurance coverage for potential losses is being evaluated.
