Ajanta Pharma to Add State-of-the-art Liquid Formulation Facility at Pithampur Site

Ajanta Pharma Ltd is expanding its manufacturing capabilities by adding a new liquid formulation facility at its Pithampur site. The existing capacity is 6 million bottles per annum on a single shift basis, with a utilization of 175%. The proposed capacity addition is 12 million bottles per annum on a single shift basis. The investment required for this expansion is Rs. 92 cr, which will be financed through internal accruals. The rationale behind this move is to meet the growing demand for global markets. The capacity addition is expected to be completed by Q1 FY 2026.
