Alkem Labs Launches NeuCeno for Partial-Onset Seizures

Alkem Laboratories Limited has announced the launch of NeuCeno (cenobamate), an anti-seizure medication (ASM) for adult patients suffering from partial-onset seizures. This marks the first time cenobamate is being introduced in India. NeuCeno is a once-daily oral therapy available in multiple dosage strengths. The drug targets epilepsy, a condition affecting an estimated 9.4 million people in India, with a unique dual mechanism of action. Clinical studies showed significant reductions in seizure frequency. The launch underscores Alkem's commitment to providing advanced and affordable treatment options to address unmet medical needs in epilepsy management.
