Alkem Labs Launches Semaglutide Syringes at ₹350

Alkem Laboratories has become the first company in India to launch semaglutide in single-shot pre-filled syringes, with prices starting at INR 350. This new delivery format aims to make the treatment more accessible and affordable for patients managing Type 2 diabetes and obesity. The company has received approval from the DCGI for these pre-filled syringes. Alkem had previously launched semaglutide injection pens in March 2026 and plans to launch vials soon. This move is expected to widen treatment options and improve patient adherence to therapy.
