Ambika Cotton Mills Expands Spindles, Plans Modernization

Ambika Cotton Mills Limited has provided a business update detailing operational expansions and future modernization plans. The company has successfully operationalized an expansion of 6048 spindles and is nearing completion of an additional 6480 spindles, both funded by internal accruals totaling ₹50 Crores. Furthermore, a proposed modernization of 43000 spindles in Unit IV to 45000 spindles with advanced machinery is planned at an estimated cost of ₹135 Crores, also to be funded internally. These initiatives aim to enhance production capacity, productivity, and quality. The modernization is slated to commence in November 2026 and conclude by March 2027.
