Ambo Agritec to Invest Rs. 30 Crore in Solar Ancillary Manufacturing Unit

Ambo Agritec Ltd. has applied to IPICOL for setting up a Solar Ancillary Manufacturing Unit at Biju Patnaik Energy Park, Khordha, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. The company plans to manufacture PV Solar Cell Round Wire (2,000 MT) and PV Solar Module Bus Bar Ribbons (1,500 MT), supporting import substitution under the Domestic Content Requirement (DCR) policy. The project is expected to begin in April 2025 and generate direct and indirect employment. The infrastructure requirements include 2 acres of land, 10,000 liters/day of water, and 2,000 KVA of power. The financing is structured as Rs. 9 crore in equity and Rs. 21 crore in institutional funding.
