Andhra Paper Kadiam Unit Partially Resumes Operations

Andhra Paper Ltd has announced the partial resumption of manufacturing operations at its Kadiam Unit effective July 15, 2026. This follows a period of disruption due to workmen not resuming duties post-lockout revocation. One paper machine with a capacity of 150 MT per day, representing approximately 70% of the unit's production, has recommenced operations. The company expects further improvements leading to full operations, contingent on increased attendance of contract workmen, whose current attendance is at 35% of normal levels. Permanent employees have resumed duties. The disruption was attributed to demands by contract workmen regarding contractual terms.
