Global Defence Industries' Subsidiary Globe Forge Commences Production

Globe Forge Limited, a subsidiary of Global Defence Industries Ltd, has commenced commercial production at its state-of-the-art artillery shell manufacturing line in Shirdi, Maharashtra, effective May 23, 2026. The facility was inaugurated by prominent figures, including the Defence Minister of India, the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, and the Chief of Defence Staff. This development aligns with the Indian government's "Atmanirbhar Bharat" initiative, aimed at enhancing indigenous defence manufacturing capabilities and self-reliance.
