Antony Waste Q2 FY27: Tonnage Up 0.8% Despite PCMC WtE Halt
Antony Waste Handling Cell Ltd reported a business update for Q2 and H1 FY27. Despite a temporary suspension of energy operations at the Pimpri Chinchwad (PCMC) Waste-to-Energy (WtE) facility due to a tragic incident, total tonnage managed grew 0.8% YoY to 1.28 million tonnes in Q2 FY27. Collection & Transportation (C&T) volumes surged 11.5% YoY, driven by new Mumbai operations and existing sites. Processing volumes saw a 7.2% YoY decrease, primarily due to the PCMC WtE halt. Core revenue remained stable YoY, with C&T revenue growing 12%. The PCMC WtE facility is expected to be functional by December 2026, with interim MRF and composting operations resuming.
