Apollo Micro Systems Completes Acquisition of IDL Explosives

Apollo Micro Systems Limited has completed the acquisition of IDL Explosives Limited through its subsidiary, Apollo Defence Industries Private Limited. The acquisition was concluded with GOCL Corporation Limited. IDL Explosives Limited, with its manufacturing facilities in Rourkela and other locations, has now become a step-down subsidiary of Apollo Micro Systems Limited. This strategic acquisition is expected to commence from Q3 FY2026, strengthening Apollo Group's footprint in the defence sector and adding critical capabilities in next generation high end Defence grade explosives, propellants and warhead systems. The acquisition aligns with India’s Atmanirbhar initiative in defence.
