Apollo Micro Systems to Acquire 41.33% of Premier Explosives for ₹1550 Cr

Apollo Micro Systems Ltd has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire a 41.33% stake in Premier Explosives Limited for approximately INR 1550 Crores in an all-cash deal. Premier Explosives is involved in high energy materials, rocket motors for defence & aerospace, and munitions. This strategic acquisition aims to combine complementary capabilities in defence systems and energetic materials, enhancing R&D and participation in next-generation defence and space programs. The transaction is expected to close in Q3/December 2026, subject to regulatory and other approvals. This move is intended to strengthen India's defence manufacturing capabilities and sovereign expertise.
