Archean Chemical's Investee Inaugurates UK Battery Pilot Facility

Archean Chemical Industries Ltd announced a significant development concerning its investment in Offgrid Energy Labs Inc. Offgrid has inaugurated its first Zinc Bromide based battery (ZincGel®) pilot manufacturing facility, a 10 MWh demonstration line, in Hook, Hampshire, United Kingdom. This marks the transition of Offgrid's proprietary ZincGel® technology from laboratory innovation to commercial pilot-scale production. The facility aligns with Archean Chemical's strategic objective of investing in Offgrid and establishes a foundation for future large-scale battery manufacturing, including a planned gigafactory in India. There is no additional financial commitment from Archean Chemical arising from this development. The ZincGel® technology is designed for long-duration stationary energy storage applications.
