Asahi India Glass Ltd Appoints Mr. Takahiro Tokuda as Additional Independent Director

The Board of Directors of Asahi India Glass Ltd, based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, have approved the appointment of Mr. Takahiro Tokuda as an Additional Director in the capacity of Independent Director for a period of five consecutive years, effective from 1st April, 2026, subject to the approval of the shareholders. Mr. Tokuda, aged 56, holds a bachelor's degree in agriculture from the University of Tokyo and has over 30 years of experience at Mitsubishi Corporation, Japan. He is currently Division C.O.O., Healthcare Division of Mitsubishi Corporation and has held various key leadership roles in the company. He is also serving as a Non-Executive Director on the Board of Deccan Fine Chemicals (India) Private Limited. Mr. Tokuda has confirmed that he meets the criteria of 'Independence' under the provisions of the Companies Act, 2013 and the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, and is not disqualified to be appointed as a Director.
