Ashapura Minechem Commissions Bridge Over Konkoure River in Guinea, Unlocking 80 Million Tonnes of Bauxite Reserves

Ashapura Minechem Ltd. has announced the commissioning of a critical bridge over the Konkoure river in Guinea, connecting its mines in Boffa East with the logistics route to the Boffa port. This newly constructed bridge, a first of its kind project for Ashapura, unlocks approximately 80 million tonnes of exportable grade Bauxite reserves in the east part of the mining lease area, which was earlier inaccessible. This development highlights Ashapura's commitment to infrastructure development, transforming the region's landscape, and improving the overall yield of bauxite within the Boffa region.
