Ashok Leyland Defence Business Secures Multiple Orders Worth X700 Crore

Ashok Leyland, the Indian flagship of the Hinduja Group and the largest supplier of logistics vehicles to the Indian Army, has announced that its Defence business has won multiple orders valued at over Rs. 700 Cr. The orders are for the supply of vehicles to fulfill Defence sector needs of troop transportation, logistics, and other specialised mobility requirements under the Close-in Weapon Systems (CIWS) program. The vehicles include the Stallion 4x4, Stallion 6x6, Short Chassis Bus, and Mobility System Travelling Platform. Ashok Leyland remains committed to developing indigenous mobility solutions for the armed forces, reinforcing its position as a trusted partner in strengthening the nation’s defence capabilities.
