Leo Puri Appointed Chairman of Asian Paints Board from Jan 2027

Asian Paints Ltd. announced that the Board of Directors has appointed Mr. Leo Puri as the Chairman of the Board, effective January 23, 2027. This appointment follows the impending completion of the term of the current Chairman, Mr. R. Seshasayee, on January 22, 2027. Mr. Puri, who is also an Additional and Independent Director appointed from September 7, 2026, for a five-year term, will hold the Chairman position until the conclusion of his director term. His appointment is subject to shareholder approval. Mr. Puri brings extensive experience from leadership roles in private equity, banking, and asset management.
