Asian Paints Ltd Subsidiary Starts Commercial Production in UAE

Asian Paints Ltd has announced that its subsidiary, Asian White Inc. FZE, has commenced commercial production at its manufacturing facility in Fujairah, UAE. This development is in line with the company's earlier proposal to undertake manufacturing and exporting white cement and white cement clinker with an initial capacity of 2,65,000 tons per annum. The company had incorporated a joint venture company, Asian White Cement Holding Limited (AWCHL), in Dubai International Financial Centre, UAE, and Asian White Inc. FZE, a wholly owned subsidiary of AWCHL, in the Fujairah Free Zone, UAE, for this purpose.
