Asian Paints Postpones Commercial Production at Madhya Pradesh Facility

Asian Paints Ltd. has postponed the commencement of commercial production at its new water-based paint manufacturing facility in Madhya Pradesh. The facility, which has a capacity of 4 lakhs kilolitres per annum, was expected to be commissioned within three years from the acquisition of the land. However, due to certain requirements and regulations, the company has been granted permission to commence manufacturing within 3 years from the date of receipt of the Environmental Clearance (EC). The postponement does not affect the incentives or benefits granted to the company by the Government of Madhya Pradesh. The company will continue to make necessary disclosures on any material developments.
