ASK Automotive Ltd. to Expand Capacity of Advanced Braking Systems by 6 Crore Pcs. per annum

ASK Automotive Ltd. has announced capacity expansion of Advanced Braking Systems (Brake Shoes and Disc Brake Pads) for two wheeler applications. The expansion will be achieved through the establishment of two new plants at leased properties in Rajasthan. The existing capacity is 26 Crore (Pcs.) per annum with a utilization of 90%. The proposed capacity addition is 6 Crore (Pcs.) per annum. The investment required is approximately Rs. 35 Crore, which will be financed through internal accruals. The rationale behind this expansion is the increased demand supported by GST 2.0 reforms. The proposed capacity is likely to be commissioned in Q1 FY 26-27.
