
Aster DM Healthcare Expands Aster CMI Hospital in Bengaluru with 350 Additional Beds
Aster DM Healthcare Limited has entered into an Addendum Hospital Operation and Management Agreement with Cauvery Medical Centre Private Limited for the expansion of its existing Aster CMI Hospital in Hebbal, Bengaluru. The expansion will add approximately 350 beds to the existing 500-bed super speciality hospital, increasing the total capacity to around 850 beds. The amendment agreement extends the original term of the O & M Agreement by 5 years, making the revised term 19 years beginning from the current financial year 2024-25. The additional capacity is expected to be completed by financial year 2027, with an investment of INR 210 crores required for operationalisation, to be financed through internal accruals of the Company. The Company aims to take its total bed tally in India to 6600+ in the next 3 years.
