Astral Ltd Acquires Remaining 20% Equity Shares of Subsidiary Astral Coatings Private Limited for Rs. 75 Crores

Astral Ltd, a leading company in the manufacturing, selling and distribution of paints, varnishes, coatings, products related to home decor, industrial paints etc., has approved the acquisition of the remaining 20% equity shares of its subsidiary, Astral Coatings Private Limited (formerly known as Gem Paints Private Limited), from an existing shareholder. The acquisition, which is expected to be completed by 31.10.2025, will make Astral Coatings a wholly owned subsidiary of Astral Ltd. The transaction is valued at Rs. 75 Crores and is expected to result in operational efficiency, synergy and fast decision making.
