
Astral Ltd. to Enter Backward Integration by Manufacturing CPVC Resin
Astral Ltd., a leading manufacturer of CPVC pipes and fittings, has announced its financial results for the quarter ended on June 30, 2025. The company has reported a revenue from operations of 9,872 million, with an EBIDTA of 1,940 million. The company is planning to enter backward integration to manufacture CPVC Resin, having achieved its R&D objectives for the same. The tentative cost of the project is Rs. 150 Cr. to manufacture 40,000 M.T. of CPVC Resin. The commercial production is expected to start by Q2 FY-27. The group has defined its businesses in two verticals: Plumbing and Paints and Adhesives. The plumbing business has reported a revenue from operations of 41,963 million, with a segment EBIDTA of 7,924 million. The paints and adhesives business has reported a revenue from operations of 16,361 million, with a segment EBIDTA of 1,948 million.
