Avro India Launches Operation Shuddhi: A 50,000 Crore Circular Economy Movement

Avro India Ltd. has launched Operation Shuddhi, a nationwide mission to transform plastic waste into economic opportunity through recycling and circular economy. The launch event took place on March 10, 2026, at Malviya Smriti Bhavan, New Delhi, with over 180 distinguished guests. The company also launched the Operation Shuddhi Website and Recycling App to mobilize volunteers and build an efficient plastic collection and recycling ecosystem. The vision is to engage 5,00,000 citizens, create a 50,000 crore circular economy activity, generate large-scale livelihoods, and reduce plastic pollution and greenhouse gas emissions. The movement aims to connect various institutions and communities to ensure plastic is collected, repurposed, and brought back into the economy.
