Bajaj Electricals Acquires Morphy Richards Brand for INR 141.40 Crore from Glen Electric Limited

Bajaj Electricals Ltd. has executed definitive agreements with Glen Electric Limited (part of the Glen Dimplex Group, Ireland) for the acquisition of the ‘Morphy Richards’ brand and related intellectual property rights in the territories of India, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, the Maldives, and Sri Lanka. The agreement includes the absolute, perpetual, and irrevocable sale and assignment of the Business Intellectual Property together with all associated goodwill. The total consideration cost is INR 168.00 crore, with a net consideration to the Seller of INR 141.40 crore, payable in three instalments. The transaction was completed on March 16, 2026, and the Seller has agreed not to challenge the Buyer’s ownership of the Business Intellectual Property in any manner in the Territories.
