Balkrishna Industries Completes Carbon Black & Power Plant Expansion

Balkrishna Industries Ltd. announced the successful completion of its Carbon Black expansion project, increasing capacity from 2,00,000 MTPA to 3,60,000 MTPA with an additional capacity of 95,000 MTPA. This expansion, part of the company's 2030 growth plan, involved an investment of ₹800 Crore financed through internal accruals. Additionally, the company completed its Power Plant expansion, increasing capacity from 40 MW to 64 MW with an addition of 24 MW, at an investment of ₹125 Crore, also financed by internal accruals. These projects are integrated with common equipment and infrastructure.
