Balrampur Chini Mills Limited (BCML) has launched India's first Poly Lactic acid (PLA) brand, 'Balrampur Bioyug', at an event graced by Maharashtra Chief Minister Shri Devendra Fadnavis. The upcoming PLA plant, located in Kumbhi, Uttar Pradesh, integrates operational synergies to enhance resource efficiency and optimize supply chain management. With a gross investment of Rs. 2,850 Crores, the plant leverages cutting-edge technology from global technology providers and is powered by 100% renewable energy for its entire production process. The launch event also featured the unveiling of Bioyug on Wheels, a mobile experience designed to demonstrate the transformative potential of PLA.
