Bandhan Bank Ltd. Sells Identified NPA and Written-off Portfolios for Rs. 801.72 Crore

Bandhan Bank Ltd. has concluded the sale of identified unsecured NPA and Written-off Portfolios to Asset Reconstruction Companies (ARCs). The unsecured NPA Portfolio with more than 180 Days Past Due, having principal outstanding of Rs. 3,165.25 Crore, was sold to Asset Reconstruction Companies (India) Limited (ARCIL) for Rs. 569.75 Crore. The Unsecured Written-off Loan Portfolio, having principal outstanding of Rs. 3,707.11 Crore, was sold to Phoenix ARC Private Limited for Rs. 331.97 Crore. The Bank has subscribed to a significant portion of the Security Receipts (SRs) in both cases.
