Bank of Baroda Clarifies No Suit Served by Dr. BR Shetty

Bank of Baroda has responded to media inquiries regarding interim applications filed by Dr. BR Shetty in the Bombay High Court. The bank stated that it has not been served with any suit or interim applications from Dr. Shetty, reiterating its earlier clarification from October 14, 2026. Bank of Baroda maintains that it cannot comment on pleadings or applications it has not received and that have not been heard by the court. The bank noted that the suit and applications appear to be yet to be scrutinized or registered by the High Court. Bank of Baroda suspects a selective dissemination of information to the media, timed with the bank's quarterly results announcement, with an improper intention and will take appropriate steps.
