Bartronics India Ltd Subsidiary, Avio Smart Market Stack, Signs Agreement with Huwel for Large-Scale Public TB Diagnostics Opportunity

Bartronics India Ltd's subsidiary, Avio Smart Market Stack Limited (ASMS), has signed a Share Subscription cum Shareholders’ Agreement with Hyderabad-based Huwel Lifesciences. The agreement aims to target the large-scale public tuberculosis (TB) diagnostics opportunity. Under the agreement, ASMS will acquire a minority stake in Huwel and collaborate on business development and project execution. The collaboration is expected to bolster ASMS's presence in the life sciences segment and align with scalable public health solutions. The development comes after Huwel Lifesciences’ tuberculosis diagnostic platform underwent a Health Technology Assessment (HTA) conducted by the Department of Health Research under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, positioning Huwel Lifesciences’ Quantiplus platform in a potential monopoly position within the public molecular TB diagnostics segment.
