BCL Industries to Acquire Goyal Distillery, Expanding Ethanol Production to 1100 KLPD

BCL Industries Ltd. is set to acquire Goyal Distillery Private Ltd., a grain-based ethanol unit in Fatehabad, Haryana. This strategic acquisition will add a 250 KLPD grain-based ethanol plant and a power plant utilizing paddy straw as fuel to BCL's production capabilities. Post-acquisition, Goyal Distillery will become a wholly owned subsidiary of BCL Industries Ltd. The total distillery capacity will increase from 700 KLPD to 1100 KLPD, and a biogas plant with 20 MTPD capacity is also planned on an adjacent 9-acre plot. The estimated Capex for this project is around Rs. 350 Cr., with an expected timeline of 20 months from the date of ground breaking.
