Benares Hotels: Director Beejal Desai resigns; 2 new directors appointed

Benares Hotels Ltd announced changes in its directorships effective April 29, 2026. Mr. Beejal Desai, a Non-executive, Non-Independent Director, has resigned from the Board. Concurrently, the Board of Directors, based on the Nomination and Remuneration Committee's recommendations, appointed Mr. Rajendra Misra as an Additional Non-executive, Non-Independent Director. Additionally, Mr. Anupam Chaturvedi was appointed as an Additional Non-executive, Independent Director for a term of 5 years, subject to shareholder approval. Both new appointments are also effective from April 29, 2026. Mr. Misra brings over 30 years of legal experience, while Mr. Chaturvedi is the Founder and CEO of ACe Pansophy and has extensive banking experience.
