Bharat Coking Coal Achieves Record Single Day Coal Booking Under Special Discount Scheme

Bharat Coking Coal Ltd has achieved a record single day coal booking under its recently introduced special discount scheme. The scheme, aimed at liquidation of coal stock, offered discounts ranging from 100 to ¥600 per tonne across various slabs. During the e-auction conducted yesterday, approximately 1,80,000 tonnes of coal were booked across 45 rakes in e Rail Mode and approximately 56,850 tonnes of coal were booked in e Road Mode. This resulted in a total coal booking of approximately 2,36,850 tonnes in a single day. This significant achievement reflects the effectiveness of the company’s consumer-centric policies and is expected to support key sectors such as steel and core industries.
