BCCL Oct 2026 Coal Production Up 7.1% YoY

Bharat Coking Coal Ltd (BCCL) reported provisional production performance for October 2026. Raw coal production increased by 7.1% year-on-year to 2.86 million tonnes. Coking coal production saw a 9.8% rise to 2.82 million tonnes, while non-coking coal production declined by 57.7% to 0.05 million tonnes. Underground mine production dropped 75.6%, but opencast mine production grew 9.6%. Washed coking coal production increased by 16.1% to 0.12 million tonnes. Overburden removal decreased by 7.3%, and raw coal offtake rose by 11.1%.
